From soul samples to revolutionizing what hip hop music could be, RZA tells DAZED that he hates "to use the word bittersweet." He shares that it's more of a feeling of "completion", where they look back and see the journey they've conquered.
"A feeling of gratitude. There’s nostalgia. And there’s also the feeling of – I’ll just use the simple English word – wow."
Lives changed, not only the troupe, but millions of listeners around the globe. While each members have solo albums, starring role in movies, and pop up here and there to serve some Wu-Tang Clan material, they all came united with the idea of a farewell tour. The Final Chamber is bringing them back again, that is... for the last time. Closing an era with the people who've been there ever since: their fans.
About the tour, RZA shared how much of an emotional ride it is to be on the road with the gang, united in thought that this will be they're all together performing Wu-Tang Clan sets. As their songs resound "Wu-Tang is forever," it's definitely put them to tears that the mission has been accomplished, it's time to bid farewell.
"If Wu-Tang was able to inspire someone to laugh, to rebel, to accept something, to fight, or even just to let something go – that’s a blessing," he told DAZED.
