Pine Knob Music Theatre
It’s been awhile - 25 years to be exact.
And from the response from their fanbase upon their recent announcement, it’s very evident that it’s been eagerly awaited. That raw and soulful voice; the stirring, deep emotions that bubble to the surface for sweet release; the signature, authentic mixture of grunge, metal, and post-grunge - all of it is much anticipated, and now it’s finally time to break the cycle once more!
Alternative legends Staind have just announced a massive celebratory tour, and it’s very clear that they are right here, ready, and keen - and so are we! That’s right, Clarkston, Staind is coming to the Pine Knob Music Theatre on 27 September 2026 with their ‘Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour’ alongside Seether, and special guests Hoobastank and Hinder!

Aaron Lewis - the frontman with the raw and soulful voice, ripping guitarist Mike Mushok, the man behind the thundering basslines Johnny April, and the incredibly talented drummer Sal Giancarelli are back and ready to dig into their hugely successful third studio album Break The Cycle - and anybody who has been following them since their breakthrough in 2003 with this very album, will agree with Anne Erickson of WMMR: Staind is one of the “defining bands of the post-grunge movement”. Metal Injection praised the album as one that “helped define early-2000s alternative rock.
Break The Cycle went platinum five times and topped the charts around the world with its iconic hits It’s Been Awhile - one of the most played songs in modern rock radio history, Fade, For You, Epiphany, and the cathartic, hard-hitting Outside. To date, Staind has received seven Billboard Award nominations - all of them related to Break The Cycle, an MTV Video Music Award nomination, and two Teen Choice Award nominations. Staind has released eight studio albums so far, with the most recent one being 2024’s Confessions of the Fallen.
Now, 25 years later, Staind is slated to hit the road on a massive tour in celebration of the success of Break The Cycle with support by post-grunge icons Seether. The Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour is slated to kick off in early May 2026 in Daytona Beach, Florida, making stops in all the major cities including Columbus, Atlanta, Virginia Beach, Darien Centre, Tinley Park, Thackerville, Houston, and Salt Lake City on their way to Austin, Texas, where they will be wrapping up in mid-October 2026.
The iconic South African rock band Seether broke into the mainstream scene around the same time as Break The Cycle was released, with the singles Fine Again and Broken. To date, Seether has released nine studio albums.
Staind will also be joined by special guests Hoobastank, best known for bangers such as The Reason and Crawling in the Dark, and Oklahoma-based Hinder, the rock band behind the hits Lips Of An Angel and Better Than Me.
