Pine Knob Music Theatre
There isn’t a guitarist alive today whose first notes they mastered on a guitar isn’t those of the epic opening riff of ‘Smoke On The Water’. There isn’t a hard rock-lover who doesn’t worship the ground these guys walk on. A band that gives a more cracking show with a career spanning over half a century behind them, doesn’t exist.
And when these guys pull into town, it’s a rare opportunity that needs to be grabbed with both hands, horns in the air! Yes Clarkston, you’re about to get very, very lucky, because Deep Purple is coming to the Pine Knob Music Theatre on 21 August 2026 alongside very special guests Kansas!
That’s a whole lot of rock for one night, and with ticket prices starting from as low as $46, it’s little wonder the venue is filling up fast. Hit that ‘Get Tickets’ button now if you want to get in!
They’re pioneers of the heavy metal and modern hard rock genres. They’ve gone down in the 1975 Guinness Book of World Records as ‘the globe’s loudest band’, and has been hailed as part of the “unholy trinity of British hard rock and heavy metal in the early to mid-’70s” alongside Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. They are one of the most influential bands ever, ranked in the 22nd position on VH1’s Greatest Artists of Hard Rock, is a recipient of the much sought-after Legend Award as awarded by the World Music Awards, and are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
Many of the world’s most admired and renowned musicians learned a thing or two from them. To Def Leppard vocalist Joe Elliot they are one of the only three bands that ever mattered; to Iron Maiden’s bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris, they were one of his biggest influences; Eddie Van Halen has named Burn as the track with one of his favorite guitar riffs ever; Queen guitarist Brian May hailed them as “trailblazing and technically incredible”; and Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich named them as one of his favorite bands ever.
They are Deep Purple; they are legends; and they are back on the road!
The legendary hard rock icons, who commenced their long farewell in 2019, have just announced a massive North American summer tour, alongside some hints at new material that might see the light soon.
