Over the years, Bob Seger has gained a loyal following and become known to the world at large for his endless series of hits, including "Against the Wind", "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man”, "Turn the Page”, "We've Got Tonight", "Night Moves”, and "Like a Rock”. With his distinctive loud raspy voice, his anthemic songs became a staple of the heartland rock genre.
“I thought I’d be done by 30,” the singer said, in a rare interview, when asked about his remarkable longevity. “My original plan was to do it for five years between the age of 25 and 30 and then buy a motorcycle and drive across Europe, and then get a real job. It didn’t work out that way. The more you do it, I guess, the more you love it.”
